MorphLit Press is an imprint that values innovation, fresh perspectives and pushing the edges of authorship with a skillful hand and an eye on craft. We know that hybrid and self publishing models lack personal touch, transparency in the process and education and training for authors to use during publishing and beyond. We equip books and the authors who built them with the guidance they need to increase their personal and professional ROI before, during and after their book is published.
A new kind of publishing model built from the inside out.
The Story Behind MorphLit
Our founder, Stephanie Fee, entered the publishing world, first as a ghostwriter and collaborator to authors. She has successfully worked with authors, taking them from idea/raw material through to traditional, self and hybrid publishing.
Stephanie comes from a wide-ranging creative and business background — film editing, coaching highly successful entrepreneurs under Dan Sullivan’s Strategic Coach and over fifteen years in sales and leadership in fine wine imports and distribution.
As a ghostwriter, Stephanie entered the publishing world with fresh eyes, began seeing the gaps that existed between authors and their collaborators–ghostwriters, editors and publishers.
The lack of transparency in the hybrid publishing model created empty promises that left authors disappointed and lacking in personal and professional returns on their investment.
The real problem, however, was that the expectations of authors and their partners of choice were not aligned from the start.
She’s taken everything she’s learned about authorship, publishing, business, and innovative problem-solving, and transformed it into a publishing experience that gives authors what they deserve most—a profound, life-changing experience.
Stephanie became the person authors trusted to not only build their book with them but create a strategy and an approach to their role as an author. When her clients left her side and entered traditional or hybrid publishing, she noticed a pattern:
Collaborators were replaced mid-process
Authors were oversold and under-served
The majority of hybrid publishers weren’t focused on quality or experience, they were focused on the financial transaction.
Authors were investing more money to fix problems that could have been avoided with the right team from the start
Authors who had been supported every step of the way through her ghostwriting agency, The Wild Larynx, were disappointed by the lack of service, alignment, and strategic clarity on the other side.
MorphLit was born to provide the solution to these problems.
A Publishing House That Prioritizes Fit Over Financials
MorphLit was built for a specific kind of author:
Someone who’s serious about their message.
Someone who values excellence, not ego.
Someone willing to consider authorship as an investment in themselves and their wok rather than a cost, a job or a set of tasks.
Someone who wants a transparent, relational, and strategic path to publication without hard-sell tactics, inflated promises, or confusing handoffs.
We’re not here to convince you to publish with us.
We’re here to help you figure out what path is right for you.
Stephanie has helped authors reach traditional presses, hybrid imprints, and self-publishing platforms guiding each one toward what actually fits their goals, values, and bandwidth.
MorphLit is the publishing house for those who choose the independent route with intention and want a team that delivers the same level of care and precision they’ve put into their manuscript.

Built from Trust. Backed by Experience.
Behind MorphLit is a team of experienced editors, designers, book marketing professionals. Authors at MorphLit interface with one experienced guide who facilitates the backend so you don’t have to.
